How To Jump Start A Lexus Hybrid

✅ Quick Checklist: Jump Starting a 2025-2026 Lexus UX250h

Before You Start
☐ Park vehicles close (not touching)
☐ Both vehicles OFF
☐ Shift to Park & set parking brakes
☐ Open hood and locate positive (+) jump terminal in fuse box

🔌 Connect Cables (In This Order)

☐ 1. Red clamp → Lexus positive (+) jump terminal
☐ 2. Red clamp → Donor vehicle positive (+) terminal
☐ 3. Black clamp → Donor vehicle negative (-) terminal
☐ 4. Black clamp → Unpainted metal ground on Lexus (NOT battery)

🚗 Start the Vehicle

☐ Start donor vehicle
☐ Wait 2-3 minutes
☐ Press Power button on Lexus UX250h

🔄 Disconnect (Reverse Order)

☐ 1. Remove black clamp from Lexus ground
☐ 2. Remove black clamp from donor vehicle
☐ 3. Remove red clamp from donor vehicle
☐ 4. Remove red clamp from Lexus

⏱ After Starting

☐ Let Lexus run for 10-15 minutes
☐ Have battery tested if issue continues
